Engineering challenge
Every transaction is a ledger posting—contributions, loans, repayments, member fees—and the system has to enforce that every posting balances and every member’s balance stays mathematically correct, including under concurrent transactions. The system is multi-tenant (each chama isolated), with role-based access for admin, treasurer, and auditor.
